Key person
At Crackerjacks we use a Key Person system. When your child starts with us they will be assigned a member of staff as their Key Person. The Key Person will oversee your child’s learning and progress. The Key Person will coordinate observations of your child at play and will be your main point of contact regarding your child’s development. You will receive regular updates from them and you will be given the opportunity to meet with your child’s Key Person, at least once a term. If, however, you would like to discuss anything with your child’s Key Person at any other time please have a chat with them at the start of a session and arrange a mutually convenient time.
Bank staff
You may also see other faces amongst the staff. These are ‘bank staff’ who are experienced practitioners who cover for us when a member of staff is unwell or attending training. We try to use the same bank staff regularly so that the children become familiar with them.
